Race Description
The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 5K Run/Walk is set to take place on Monday, January 20, 2025, at the MLK Metrorail Station in Miami, Florida. This annual event, organized by the Progressive Officers Club, Inc., aims to celebrate the legacy of Dr. King and promote social justice and equality within the community.
Participants can look forward to a day filled with activities, including registration at 6:30 AM, warmup at 7:30 AM, and a shotgun start at 8:00 AM. Awards will be presented at 10:30 AM, and proceeds from the event will assist Women of H.O.P.E., a nonprofit organization supporting individuals with autoimmune diseases. Families are encouraged to join, as there will be various prizes and giveaways.
