Race Description
MLK Health is set to host its inaugural Daisy Dash 5K on Saturday, April 5, 2025, in Shreveport, Louisiana. The event aims to raise funds for providing no-cost healthcare to uninsured adults suffering from chronic diseases. Participants are encouraged to wear their favorite daisy-themed outfits and join the race to support this noble cause.
The event features a half-mile Fun Run starting at 8:00 a.m., followed by the 5K race at 8:15 a.m. Registration for the 5K is $25 through March 14, 2025, and $30 thereafter, while the Fun Run costs $20 in advance and $25 on race day. Awards will be presented to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as trophies for age group winners.
