Race Description
The Concord California Turkey Trot 5K, organized by Diablo Valley Federal Credit Union, is set to take place on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 2024, at Newhall Park in Concord, California. The event aims to raise funds for Loaves and Fishes of Contra Costa, providing assistance to those in need in the community. With a registration limit of 1,500 participants, the 5K run/walk will ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
Participants can expect a diverse course that features grass fields, park pathways, and city streets. Each registered runner or walker will receive a technical t-shirt and a medal upon completion of the event. In alignment with health guidelines, the race will occur rain or shine, and once registrations are confirmed and paid, they will be non-refundable. However, if cancellation occurs due to health and safety regulations, participants can choose to donate their fees or receive a refund.
