Race Description
The Christmas in Lafreniere Park Run/Walk is set to take place on December 7, 2024, at Lafreniere Park in Metairie, Louisiana, starting at 4 PM. This festive event, organized by the Crescent City Classic, features a 2-mile course illuminated by over 10 million LED lights as part of the annual Christmas in the Park Lights Display. Participants can enjoy an array of refreshments, including gumbo and hot chocolate, while taking in the park's holiday decorations and attractions.
Children ages 3 to 10 can avail a discounted registration fee, and those under 3 can participate for free. Each registrant will receive a glow-in-the-dark shirt and early entrance to the park's driving and walking tours before they open to the public.
