Race Description
On May 31, 2025, the inaugural Chip Seaver Memorial 5K "Rooster Run" will take place at the Greensboro Public Safety Training Grounds in North Carolina. This family-friendly event includes a 5K race and a 1-mile fun walk/run, catering to participants of all skill levels, whether they are competitive runners or families looking for a casual outing.
The race honors the legacy of Chip Seaver, a U.S. Marine and dedicated firefighter, with proceeds benefiting the Chip Seaver Memorial Fund at Guildford Technical Community College. This fund supports fire training programs that ensure future firefighters are well-prepared to serve their communities. Attendees are encouraged to bring towels and enjoy post-race interactions with local first responders.
