Race Description
The Chamber 5K on the Runway is set to take place on February 27, 2025 at the Vero Beach Regional Airport. This unique 5K race will be run on the airport's taxiway and runway, starting at 5:00 PM, making it an exciting opportunity for runners and families of all fitness levels to participate in a professionally chip-timed event. The course promises to be stroller and wheelchair friendly due to its flat and paved nature.
All proceeds from the Chamber 5K will benefit the Indian River County Chamber of Commerce and the Indian River County Leadership Foundation. Participants can take advantage of early packet pickup on February 26, 2025, at the Chamber's office in Vero Beach. The race day schedule includes registration from 4:00 PM to 4:45 PM, followed by the race start at 5:00 PM, and an awards ceremony to follow immediately after the race.
