Race Description
The Sixth Annual Cape Fear 24 Hour endurance run is set to take place on a certified, asphalt paved loop in Lillington, NC. This event, previously known as Dia De Los Muertos 24 Hour, offers a unique opportunity for runners to challenge themselves over a 24-hour period, with a focus on endurance and community. The course is designed to provide maximum support for participants, making it accessible for both serious competitors and casual runners alike.
This year's run will feature a 0.5918-mile trail that encircles Lillington's Parks and Recreation fields. With a mostly flat terrain, participants will enjoy a comfortable running experience enhanced by adequate facilities including restrooms, parking, and tent setup areas. Safety measures will be in place, as park lights will illuminate the course at night, negating the need for headlamps. The event is slated for October 12-13, 2024, allowing runners to prepare for an exciting endurance challenge.
