Race Description
The 11th Annual Break the Ice 5K Run/Walk and Kid's Frosty Dash is set to take place on February 1, 2025, in South Haven, Michigan. Organizers promise a fast course and colorful awards including personalized engraved steins and beer pint glasses for participants. The event also features separate results and awards for walkers, encouraging broad participation from the community.
This fundraising race benefits the South Haven Public Schools Middle and High School Cross-Country teams. Participants can register for the race or walk until late on January 31 at the South Haven High School or on race day at Black River Tavern. The race begins at 10 a.m. at the corner of Eagle and Kalamazoo Streets, sending participants through scenic views of downtown South Haven.
