Race Description
The Blue Ribbon Run, scheduled for March 22, 2025, is an annual event aimed at raising funds and awareness for colorectal cancer. Held at Long Leaf Park in Wilmington, North Carolina, this event not only supports families impacted by the disease but also fosters community spirit through various activities.
Participants can choose between a timed 5K run or walk and a 1.5-mile run or walk, with unique blue hydrangea flowers available for purchase to benefit cancer research. Following the race, attendees can enjoy a reception featuring live music by Lunar Tide, commemorating those affected by colorectal cancer and celebrating the fight for a cure.
