Race Description
The Black Mountain Uphill Climb is set to take place on December 14, 2024, in Rumford, Maine. This exciting event marks the first Snowmobile Hillclimb of the season, welcoming both participants and spectators alike. With gates opening at 10:00 AM and the race commencing at 1:00 PM, pre-registration is required, as same-day registrations will not be accepted.
Participants will tackle a 900-foot uphill course, with each competitor allotted two timed runs. The combined time for these runs will determine the official results. The event, which is limited to 300 registrations, will only allow dirt bikes and snowmobiles, with strict safety regulations including helmet and eye protection requirements. Modest prizes will be awarded for the top finishers in each class, promising a fun day of competition and camaraderie.
