Beaver Fire Tower Half

The Beaver Fire Tower Half Marathon is set to take place on February 1, 2025, in the picturesque Cookson Hills Wildlife Management Area in Cookson, Oklahoma. Participants will experience a challenging course that includes significant elevation changes of 2,200 feet on gravel and dirt roads, which feature steep and technical sections. The race promises breathtaking panoramic views as runners make their way to the highest points in the area before descending to the halfway aid station.

With a limit of 70 participants to adhere to permitting requirements, the race emphasizes environmental stewardship with a leave-no-trace policy. Packet pickup begins at 6 AM, followed by the race start at 7 AM, with a cutoff time at noon. Registration is currently open, and runners are encouraged to seize the opportunity to join this unique racing experience while respecting the natural habitat of Cookson Hills.
