Race Description
The third-annual Battle of the Badges 5K is set to take place on Saturday, April 12, 2025, in Whitestown, Indiana. This family-friendly event will see a competition between the Whitestown Fire and Police Departments as participants choose their team when registering. The race begins at 8 am at Whitestown’s Legacy Core, with proceeds benefiting a local charity.
Participants will run along the scenic route that features Whitestown’s Legacy Core and the Big 4 Rail Trail. In the previous two years, the competition has been intense, with Team Police narrowly defeating Team Fire in 2023. Last year's results demonstrated a slight edge again for Team Police, making this year's event one to watch.
