Race Description
The Autism Awareness Fun Walk is scheduled to take place on April 5, 2025, at Bruce Meisner Park in Hickory, NC. This event is part of National Autism Awareness Month and aims to increase understanding and acceptance of individuals with autism. Participants can register for free or make a $10 donation to enter a raffle, with T-shirts available for pre-sale ahead of the event.
All proceeds from the event will go towards providing participation medals for individuals with disabilities and supporting programs at We Rock the Spectrum-Hickory. For those unable to attend, there are options to support the cause by purchasing items from the event's online store. The Fun Walk runs from 10 AM to 1 PM, and attendees are encouraged to join in and promote awareness together.
