Annual Running of the Lights

The Annual Running of the Lights is set to take place in Mishawaka, Indiana, on December 10, 2024. This year, participants are invited to enjoy a scenic running tour of Winding Brook Park, which will be illuminated with festive holiday lights, created by local residents. In addition to the fun run, a $5 donation per runner is suggested to support local charities, with Fleet Feet Mishawaka matching the funds to enhance the impact on the community.

Participants are required to check in at Walt Disney Elementary School upon arrival, where they will receive safety lights and reflective bands to ensure visibility during the run. This year, the event also introduces a Teddy Bear Trot, encouraging runners to bring a stuffed teddy bear for donation to local children in need during the holiday season. Additional safety measures include running along designated routes with traffic management and the presence of volunteers to guide participants.
