Race Description
The $5K - September race, part of a series held by the Twin City Track Club, is a low-key, affordable race aimed at both novice runners and experienced athletes preparing for larger events. Subsequent to its successful run in 2023, the race is set to continue with its next edition on September 10, 2024, at Jamison Park in Winston-Salem, NC.
Registration for the 2024 race series opens on March 16, and participants can enjoy a well-marked and flat 5k course. With the cost set at $5, all Twin City Track Club members can participate for free. The series introduces new age-graded scoring for eligibility towards awards, making it accessible and competitive for all levels of runners.
