Race Description
The Newport News - Williamsburg Airport is gearing up for its annual 5K On The Runway, scheduled for September 21, 2024. This unique event provides participants with an opportunity to experience the airport from a different perspective, allowing runners to traverse airport taxiways and runways—a truly one-of-a-kind experience.
Packet pick-up for the race will be available on Friday, September 20, 2024, at Point 2 Running Company, and there will also be race day packet pick-up at the event location from 6:15 AM to 7:30 AM. The race promises to be an exciting and memorable event for running enthusiasts and newcomers alike.
