Race Description
The 5 Mile Turkey Trot for The Marisa Fund, hosted by the Rockland Road Runners, is set to take place on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 2024. This popular event, which began over three decades ago, draws more than 3,100 participants from the New York metropolitan area and beyond, making it the largest running event in Rockland County.
Participants are encouraged to register early to secure their commemorative shirts for the race, which starts at 8:30 AM, with wheelchair participants beginning at 8:15 AM. The event, aimed at raising funds for the Marisa Fund's efforts to combat childhood cancer, will also feature packet pickup prior to race day at the Palisades Center in West Nyack, NY.
