The FDNY Foundation is set to host the 3rd Annual FDNY Foundation Climb to SUMMIT at One Vanderbilt in New York City on May 4, 2025. This unique event invites climbers to ascend 1,100 feet to the SUMMIT of One Vanderbilt, emphasizing the significance of physical fitness for FDNY firefighters, EMTs, and paramedics. Proceeds from the event will be utilized to acquire stair climbers for firehouses and EMS stations across the city.

Recently featured in the news, New York City firefighters displayed remarkable endurance as they raced up 21 flights in full bunker gear during a rescue operation, demonstrating the necessity for physical training that this event seeks to support. One Vanderbilt, reaching a height of 1,401 feet, stands as a hub of modern architecture and will be a breathtaking backdrop for this climb, culminating at its immersive observatory experience, SUMMIT.
