Race Description
The 3rd Annual Extra Mile 5K is set to take place on March 22, 2025, at the Greater Wilson Rotary Park in Wilson, NC. This non-profit race, hosted by Grace Baptist Church in collaboration with Run the East, is aimed at supporting the Fellowship of Christian Athletes programs for local high schools. Participants of all ages and abilities are encouraged to join this community-focused event.
In addition to the main 5K run, participants will have the opportunity to complete an EXTRA MILE on the Rotary Park Track after finishing the race, for which Grace Baptist Church will sponsor an additional $20 per runner. With hydration stations, a variety of award categories, and participation medals for all finishers, this year's event promises to be a fun and engaging experience for both runners and supporters.
