Race Description
The 29th Annual YWCA Race Against Racism and Diversity Day will take place on January 18, 2025, at the YWCA Phyllis Wheatley Center in Knoxville, TN. This event aims to celebrate diversity and foster dialogue on inclusivity through family-friendly activities. Highlighted by the 5K race, the day's activities emphasize the community's commitment to combating racism and promoting understanding among different cultures.
Starting with the 5K race at 9 a.m., followed by a 1-mile walk and a Kids Fun Run, the event promises a full day of activities including awards, entertainment, and speeches. Participants can register online until January 18 or on the day of the event until 8:30 a.m. All proceeds will support the YWCA Knoxville and its programs aimed at empowering local students.
