Race Description
The annual Freedom Run 5K/10K hosted by Georgia Southern University's Army ROTC program is set to take place on April 19, 2025. This event serves as the primary fundraiser for the Eagle Battalion, with proceeds supporting their day-to-day activities, ceremonies, training events, and scholarships. Registration is currently open for participants of all ages and skill levels, with additional walk-up registration options available prior to the race.
Participants can choose from three different formats: a family-friendly 5K run/walk/crawl, a 5K ruck for more seasoned competitors, and a 10K run that requires a jogging pace with no walking allowed. The event promotes community involvement and fitness, encouraging attendees to join in on this exciting opportunity to support the local ROTC program.
