2024 Open Door Café Stuffed Strut 5k Run Walk or Roll A-thon

The 2024 Open Door Café Stuffed Strut returns on Thanksgiving morning, November 28, starting at 8 a.m. in downtown Wytheville, Virginia. This annual event encourages participants to run, walk, or roll to raise funds in support of local hunger relief efforts through the Open Door Cafè.

Participants in the Stuffed Strut will have the opportunity to win custom medals in various age and mobility categories, and those who raise funds will receive special branded apparel as they achieve fundraising milestones. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit the Open Door Café, a nonprofit community initiative that provided nearly 17,000 meals last year, with over 82% of patrons donating less than the actual meal cost.
