Race Description
The 2024 Mike Miller River Run is set to take place on December 7th and 8th in Marine City, Michigan. This festive event includes a 5k run and a 1.5 Mile Run/Walk, celebrating Marine City's 'Merry Time' days and honoring Mike Miller, a notable supporter of the city and one of the event's founders. Participants are encouraged to don their best holiday costumes and enjoy a fun-filled experience while raising funds for the Marine City Rotary, Mike Miller Scholarship Fund, and a local charity.
Participants can pick up their race packets on the evening before the race at Gord's Bar and must register on the day of the event beginning at 7:30 AM. The 5k race will commence at 9 AM, with the 1.5 Mile run starting shortly after. The course primarily follows sidewalks along Water Street and the public beach, assuring a scenic yet safe route. All participants will receive a goody bag, and awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers of the 5k.
