Race Description
The 2024 Blacksburg Turkey Trot, presented by Kroger, will take place on Thanksgiving morning, November 28, 2024, starting at 8:30 AM. This annual event promises a great mix of fun and fitness, featuring a 5k race designed for all skill levels, from first-timers to experienced runners. Participants can expect a professionally timed event with race bibs and chip timing provided during packet pickup.
In addition to the main event, the Gobble Gobble Kids Dash will kick off at 8:00 AM on the same day, creating a festive and energetic atmosphere for children. Young participants will have the opportunity to run through the streets of Blacksburg, all while enjoying the excitement and encouragement from the crowd. Registration is currently open for all events, and runners are encouraged to don their best Thanksgiving-themed attire as they join the celebration.
