10th Annual Superintendent's 5K Challenge Race For Education

The 10th Annual Superintendent's 5K Challenge is set to take place on March 1, 2025, at Dan Paul Plaza in Miami, Florida. This annual event is aimed at promoting health and wellness among participants, including parents, students, teachers, and school administrators from over 200 public schools. Proceeds from the race will benefit local schools and initiatives within the Miami-Dade County School District, one of the largest in the nation.

Since its inception in 2008, the event has successfully raised over $164,000 for educational programs and resources. The 2024 edition of the race will offer a variety of activities, including a 5K run/walk, a student mile for ages 10-12, and a kids dash for younger participants. Registration is currently open, and interested runners are encouraged to register before the deadline to ensure inclusion in their school packet pick-up.
