Race Description
The World Down Syndrome Day 5K is set to take place on March 15, 2025, at Estero Llano Grande Valley State Park in Weslaco, Texas. This colorful and engaging event invites participants to wear their craziest socks in support of individuals with Down syndrome, promoting awareness and celebrating diversity within the community.
Participants are encouraged to join the festive atmosphere for the 5K run, which begins at 8 a.m. The event also features a Fun Run for a reduced fee, with various incentives including a free pair of crazy socks for the first 50 registrants. Packet pick-up will be held on March 14, 2025, and on the morning of the event, adding convenience to the race preparation process.
