Race Description
The Wet Dog Triathlon, celebrating its 24th year, is set to take place on June 14, 2025, in Decatur, Alabama. This event, acclaimed for its welcoming atmosphere, features a 400-meter open water swim, a 15k bike ride, and a 5k run along the scenic Tennessee River at Point Mallard Water Park. It is recognized as one of the best first-time sprint triathlons in the country.
As a fundraiser for Mosaic Mentoring of North Alabama, the Wet Dog Triathlon aims to support a vital non-profit organization focused on mentoring children and families. Registration is currently open, allowing participants to sign up for an engaging and community-oriented athletic experience.
