Race Description
The WAYS Race to Independence 5K is scheduled to take place on March 29, 2025, at the Space Coast Field of Dreams in Melbourne, Florida. This event aims to benefit WAYS (Wraparound Youth Services) for Life, a organization that provides vital support to youth aging out of the foster care system and those experiencing homelessness in Brevard County.
Participants can enjoy early packet pickup on March 28 at the Running Zone, followed by race day activities that begin at 7:00 AM on March 29. The event includes awards for top finishers across various categories and a promise of a free race t-shirt for the first 100 registrants. Registration is currently open, with fees set at $35 for adults and $25 for children under 12 prior to race day.
