Race Description
The Ward Parkway Thanksgiving Day Run is set to take place on November 28, 2024, in Kansas City, MO. This popular event includes several race categories, featuring a 5k and 10k run along with an untimed Tiny Turkey Trot for participants aged 12 and under. This year, a new highlight will be the Downhill Mile, aimed at finding the fastest miler in the Midwest.
Participants in the 5k, 10k, and Mile will receive a long sleeve thermal shirt, a 6-inch pie-shaped finisher medal, and free race photos. Meanwhile, Tiny Trotters will be awarded a special cotton race shirt, a finisher medal, a goodie bag, and even a mini pie. The Tiny Turkey Trot is scheduled to kick off at 8:20 AM, just before the 10k race, allowing parents to accompany their children during the event.
