Race Description
The "Walk with Walker: A Race to Restore" will take place on November 9, 2024, at Brazos River Park in Sugar Land, Texas. This 5k fundraiser aims to provide children with disabilities access to essential therapy services such as physical, occupational, and speech therapy, which are often limited by insurance coverage.
Participants in the event are encouraged to arrive early, with registration opening at 7:30 AM and the race beginning at 8:30 AM. Alongside the race, local vendors will set up booths for shopping, and there will be activities for children on the playground. The event has received support from various local businesses, and all proceeds will go directly to a therapy center serving children in need.
