Race Description
The 9th Annual Walk In My Shoes Children Mental Health Awareness 5K Run is set to take place on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the Bald Eagle Pavilion, Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Participants can pick up their race packets between 6:00 AM and 6:30 AM on race day, with the event officially starting at 7:15 AM. This year's theme emphasizes being an 'Agent of Change' as it aims to raise awareness about children's mental health.
Alongside the run, attendees can enjoy a post-race celebration featuring live music, fun activities, and food. All finishers will receive a medal and a collectible race bib, while prizes will be awarded to top finishers in various categories. Registration for the event is currently open and will close on May 16, 2025, with all proceeds going towards the Change Me Foundation's youth support programs.
