Race Description
The 6th Annual Wag & Walk 5K is set to return on April 18, 2025, at Sam Smith Park in Cartersville, GA. This event aims to benefit the Etowah Valley Humane Society and will kick off at 6:30 PM. Participants are encouraged to bring their dogs along, making it a lively occasion for both runners and their furry friends.
Pre-race registration is $30 and will close at 11:00 PM on April 14, 2025, with race day registration available for $40. The race is a USATF-Certified 5K Course, making it a Peachtree Qualifier. Awards will be presented to the top finishers in various categories, highlighting overall and age-group performance. The event will occur rain or shine, making it a must-attend for animal lovers and running enthusiasts alike.
