Race Description
The Viking 5K & 10K event is set to take place at Loyd H Roland Memorial Park in Akron, PA on December 21, 2024. This race is part of the US Road Running Club Race Series and is open to all, regardless of club membership status. Participants are encouraged to register through RunSignup as there will be no on-site registration available.
The courses for both the 5K and 10K are paved and feature an out-and-back design. Runners can expect themed finisher medals upon completion, and while costumes are not mandatory, participants are encouraged to dress up for the occasion. The event starts at 8:00 AM with packet pickup beginning 30 minutes prior to the race.
