Race Description
The Viking event, featuring various race distances including 1 mile, 5K, 10K, 15K, and a Half Marathon, is scheduled to take place at McCurdy Park in Corunna, Michigan on November 16, 2024. This event is part of the US Road Running Race Series and welcomes all participants, regardless of club membership, although club members enjoy a discount on race fees.
Runners will begin their races at 8:30 AM, with packet pickup available starting 30 minutes prior. The event features multiple courses, each designed as an out-and-back route, with a time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for the Half Marathon. All finishers will receive a themed medal, and participants are encouraged to wear costumes, with awards for best costume to be presented at the event's start.
