Race Description
The Viking races are set to take place on December 21, 2024, at Baseline Trailhead Park in Ocala, Florida. This event, part of the US Road Running Club Race Series, welcomes both club members and non-members to participate in various distances including 1 mile, 5K, 10K, 15K, and a half marathon. Registration is currently open, with no option for on-site registration on race day.
Participants can look forward to a paved course with bathrooms available near the playground. Runners for the half marathon will complete the course four times, while those running the 5K, 10K, and 15K will do so for one, two, and three laps respectively. The event also encourages participants to wear costumes, with an award for the best costume to be announced at the start of the race.
