Race Description
The Velvet Hammer 5K is set to return in 2025 for its eighth annual running, scheduled for April 26, starting at 8:30 AM. Participants can look forward to a festive atmosphere that includes a gender-specific race shirt, a finisher medal, and the opportunity to enjoy three draft beers from Peticolas Brewery. Alongside the race, food trucks and live music will create a vibrant community celebration.
This year, the event also features a new PARTY PASS option for those who wish to experience the festivities without running. In addition, local running clubs are invited to participate in a challenge for the chance to earn a happy hour at Peticolas.
