Race Description
The VALOR 5K is set to take place on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the Winchester Regional Airport. This annual event honors public safety and military personnel, celebrating their courage and dedication. The run, which includes both a 5K and a Kids Mile, aims to build community support for those who serve and have served in law enforcement and the armed forces.
Participants in the VALOR 5K will enjoy a flat and fast course on the airport runway, with displays of military, fire and rescue, and law enforcement apparatus along the route. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Frederick County Sheriff's Office Youth Camp, emphasizing the event's commitment to supporting local youth programs.
