Race Description
The Uwharrie 5 Hour Adventure Race, set for June 7, 2025, will take place at Morrow Mountain State Park in North Carolina. This event is designed for both newcomers to adventure racing and seasoned participants looking for a challenge within a limited timeframe. Racers will navigate the beautiful terrain while hiking and biking to various checkpoints throughout the park.
Competitors can participate individually or in teams of 2-4. The race will involve hiking distances of 5-7 miles and biking 3-6 miles, guided by pre-plotted maps. After the race, participants can look forward to food, drinks, and an awards ceremony honoring the top finishers. All participants must sign a waiver and minors are required to race with an adult.
