Race Description
The Elkhart Education Foundation is set to host the much-anticipated annual Ugly Sweater 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Sweater Stroll on December 7, 2024. This festive event invites participants of all levels—serious runners, casual joggers, walkers, and their pets—to join in the fun wearing their tackiest holiday sweaters and engage in various activities, including a photo booth and the Ugliest Sweater Contest.
Pre-race festivities will kick off on December 6 with check-in and packet pickup at Elkhart Health & Aquatics. The event will feature hot chocolate, fruit, and cookies at the finish line, along with awards for top runners in multiple age categories and costume contests for participants. Volunteers are welcome to assist with the event, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all attendees.
