Race Description
The UAB Veterans Day 5k is an annual event scheduled for November 11, 2023, held in honor of those who have served in the military. Participants including runners, walkers, ruckers, strollers, and wheelchair racers are invited to take part in this meaningful occasion. The event, presented by UAB Veteran Services, benefits the UAB Veteran Relief Fund, supporting veteran and dependent students in need of resources for education and housing.
This year marks the 106th anniversary of Armistice Day, and the race will take place at Railroad Park in Birmingham, Alabama, starting at 8:00 AM. Participants will receive an event packet that includes a t-shirt and a finisher medal. Registration is open, and volunteers are also welcomed to help on race day.
