Race Description
The Turkey TrOT 5K Fun Run is set to take place on November 9, 2024, in Denton, Texas. This inaugural event is organized by the Texas Woman's University's chapter of Pi Theta Epsilon as part of their celebration for Occupational Therapy Week. It invites participants to join in either a 5K or a 1-mile race, along with various activities post-race, such as snacks and vendor interactions.
Registration for the Turkey TrOT is currently open, with an early bird fee of $20 available until October 25, 2024. The race aims to be a fundraising fun run, unscored and untimed, allowing participants to enjoy the day at their own pace. Additional festivities will include dress-up days leading up to the event, where participants can show their spirit by wearing themed attire every day from November 4 to November 8, culminating in the race on November 9.
