Race Description
The Tug Hill Extreme Adventure 24-hour race is set to take place on May 31 - June 1, 2025, in Osceola, NY. Hosted by Tug Hill Outfitters, this event marks the fourth annual edition and is part of the Adventure Racing World Series, offering teams the chance to compete for points in a true adventure racing format.
Participants will navigate the course using topographic maps and a compass while trekking, mountain biking, and paddling. The team that collects the most checkpoints within the 24-hour time limit will emerge as the winner. Independent canoeing or kayaking equipment is necessary, with a limited selection of rentals available. Alongside the race, attendees can participate in post-race festivities and enjoy a paddling clinic to enhance their skills.
