Race Description
The Trail Rail Run, set to take place on June 21, 2025, offers participants a variety of race distances, including individual options of 50 Mile, 50K, 30K, 12K, or 5K races. Additionally, there will be a 50 Mile team relay and a 50 Mile hand cyclist category. The race will start along the historic Northern Pacific and Milwaukee Railroad grades, spanning from Mullan, Idaho to St. Regis, Montana, and features scenic views, including train trestles and the St. Regis River.
All participants will receive a t-shirt, and those registered for the individual 50-Mile race before April 1st will be guaranteed a finisher's jacket. Proceeds from the event will support trail improvements, community development, and an annual scholarship. Organized in part by the St. Regis Community Center and sanctioned by USA Track & Field, the Trail Rail Run promises a festive atmosphere with music, food, and beer at the finish line.
