Race Description
The Trail of the Dragon 50K/50mile Run is set to take place on August 2, 2025, at Moorehead Park in Ida Grove, IA. Participants will navigate through three 10-mile loops for the 50K option or complete five loops for the 50-mile distance, all while experiencing the scenic beauty and challenging hills of the park's historic landscape.
Registration is currently open for this event, and finishers will receive medals upon completion. Ahead of the race, a pasta meal will be offered to participants during packet pick-up, providing a chance to socialize and prepare for the race. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Ida County Conservation Foundation, promoting environmental stewardship and community engagement.
