Race Description
The 4th Annual Wimpy Mile, scheduled for February 15, 2025, invites participants to experience a fast, easy, and fun one-mile walk/run in Dahlonega, Georgia. This charity event benefits the Dahlonega Sunrise Rotary Club and features a notable decrease in elevation, making it an attractive challenge for both serious runners and casual participants.
The race will take place starting from Hancock Park and will follow a certified downhill course along Wimpy Mill Rd, culminating at the Yahoola Reservoir boat ramp. Committed to community service, the Dahlonega Sunrise Rotary Club will utilize 100% of the event proceeds to support various local charities, making the Wimpy Mile not only an enjoyable race but also a meaningful contribution to the community.
