Race Description
The upcoming Wearin' of the Green 5K Shamrock Run is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 8 AM at Moreau Physical Therapy in Baton Rouge, LA. The event celebrates St. Patrick's Day and includes running on the last mile of the historic Parade route, providing a festive atmosphere for participants and their families.
Organizers expect a vibrant turnout for the sixth annual run, highlighted by an after party and the festivities surrounding the 40th Wearin' of the Green St. Patrick's Day Parade that follows the race. Participants are encouraged to register early as fees will increase leading up to the event. Awards will be presented to the top finishers in both male and female categories, and the first 500 registrants will receive special swag items including a pint glass and a finisher medal.
