Race Description
On Saturday, October 4, 2025, the Rugged Red Trail Half Marathon will celebrate its 10th anniversary in Slade, Kentucky. This event will take place on a scenic 13.1 mile looping trail course within the picturesque Red River Gorge, known for its breathtaking landscapes and diverse wildlife.
Participants will be treated to a series of features including commemorative long-sleeved shirts, custom finisher’s medals, and complimentary refreshments. The event also emphasizes hydration safety with a cup-less race policy, encouraging runners to bring their own hydration systems. For teams of five or more, discounts are available, promoting a community spirit among participants.
