Race Description
The ROC Triathlon is set to take place on August 23, 2025, at Durand-Eastman Beach in Irondequoit, NY. Organized by the Rochester Area Triathletes (RATs), this event has become a popular fixture since its inception in 2010, featuring a combination of shallow open-water swimming, a closed-road cycling segment, and a scenic running course along the shores of Lake Ontario.
As a USAT-sanctioned event, The ROC Triathlon offers qualifying slots for the National Championships across various Sprint and Intermediate distances, catering to both age-group athletes and high school competitors. Notably, due to low participation rates, the event will no longer include Duathlon, Aquabike, and Relays this year.
