The Race before The Game

The Race before The Game is set to take place in downtown Sandusky on November 30, 2024, as a part of the 8th annual celebration leading up to the iconic Ohio State vs. Michigan football game. Participants can choose between the approximately 5-mile 'Dot the i' course or the 4-mile 'Block the M' course, offering a unique opportunity to engage in a spirited rivalry while enjoying the distinctive street layout of Sandusky.

This year introduces a 'NEW FOR 2024' feature, the OH-IO Two-person relay, allowing teams to split the Script Ohio course. Additionally, there is a one-mile Big O walk option for those wishing to highlight just the 'O' in Ohio. Registered participants who sign up by November 18 will receive long-sleeved shirts and must adhere to sidewalks and traffic regulations during the event.
