Race Description
The Memorial 5K Foundation is set to host its 4th Annual Memorial 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Market Place Shopping Center in Lake Barrington, IL. The event honors the service and sacrifice of those who have died while serving in duty, featuring a brief ceremony of remembrance conducted by local veterans and active-duty service members before the race begins.
Participants in the 5K will be chip-timed and receive a race tech shirt and a commemorative finishers medal. Proceeds from the event will support the Memorial 5K Foundation's initiatives, benefiting veterans and the Tunnel 2 Towers Foundation. The race starts at 8:00 AM, and parking is available at ReMax Properties Northwest in Lake Barrington.
